The booster club meeting scheduled for tomorrow, February 9th has been rescheduled for Monday, February 15th. The school board meeting scheduled for tonight, February 8th has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 10th. The Bondurant-Farrar Board of Education has opened enrollment for grades 9-12 in the 2010-11 school year. Because of the opening of the new high school, the Board determined to allow a limited number of spaces for students/families who reside outside of the district’s boundary. Space is limited. Requests will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications are available on-line and in the school district office. Applicants should submit the Open Enrollment application to both the resident and receiving districts. Application deadline is March 1, 2010. As of November 13, 2009 all emails will require something to be in the subject line. If an email sent to a staff member has a blank subject line, it will be rejected and an error message will come back. This is due to a new email filter system that was installed. Messages with a blank subject line resemble the behavior of a spam message and are being filtered out. Check out the new newsletter created by Junior High Students. Go to the Jr-Sr High School page under Our Schools. Then click on Jr-Sr High Information. The newsletter is the first item on the information menu. H1N1 Update The staff development day originally scheduled for Friday, April 2nd has been moved to Friday, April 9th. School will now be in session on April 2nd, but NOT on April 9th. The Department of Education visited our school district earlier this year. Click here to download and read their report. Click here to contact Superintendent Vint and the Board of Education. If you have questions about school finances or any other school topic, I would invite you to Coffee with the Supt and a Board member on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the City Center. We look forward to seeing you there.
