I am pleased to be the Superintendent of the Bondurant-Farrar Community Schools, a district steeped in rich tradition. We look forward to the continued success, growth, and increasing student achievement.
Our mission is to help all children develop their talents in order that they may become productive citizens.
We appreciate your interest in our district! Please feel free to contact me if we can be of assistance to you. We welcome you to our school and community.
Dear Parents/Guardians of Bondurant-Farrar Students,
On behalf of the School Administration and members of Polk County Sheriff’s Department, including Chief Schneider, please accept our invitation to attend a town meeting on Tuesday, December 10th, at 5:30 p.m. in the Middle School auditorium. We ask you to join us in a discussion and update regarding the recent events involving our school district. Please keep in mind that due to the sensitive issues we will be discussing, only adults are asked to be in attendance.
During our visit, we will be discussing security measures within our district, how to improve communication during emergency events, community involvement, and also update you on the progress of the investigation.
We encourage you to send any questions, comments, and suggestions to Julie Hall at Anderson Elementary by 9:00 Monday morning. Her e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org. Responses will be compiled and responded to by either a school administrator or a representative from Polk County Sheriff’s Department during the meeting. If your question isn’t answered during the meeting, contact information for all presenters will be provided at the end of the meet.
We understand that many school activities are planned for the same evening; no activities will be cancelled. We will plan to conclude our meeting at 6:40 p.m.
Thank you for your time. We hope to see many of you at the meeting next Tuesday. We look forward to a very positive and productive dialogue with you.
Mrs. Peggy Vint, Superintendent of Schools
Mr. Mike Kramer, HS Principal
Mr. Chad Carlson, MS Principal
Mr. Mel Hewitt, Anderson Elementary Principal
